This watch face won the Overall Winner in the Watch face hackathon event of Wear OS Watch dial design held by Goole (Shanghai) on September 21, 2018. It was jointly designed and developed by Wayne, a developer of Google, and students from Tongji University and East China University of Science and Technology. The watch face is now available to download on the Mobile Store and Huawei App Store.
The inspiration for the watch face is from the 1968 classic sci-fi film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
In the film, there is a spacecraft that can produce gravity by rotation, so that astronauts can run around the spaceship.
The astronaut in the dial has different performances according to the movement state of the wearer.
The watch face is now available to download on Mobile Store and Huawei App store.
